This exquisite ring made of platinum (950 fineness) with yellow gold components is a fascinating piece of jewelry dating from between 1880 and 1910. It bears the Austrian import hallmark (valid from 1923 to 2001), confirming its origin and quality. At the center of the ring is a charming faceted cushion-cut emerald weighing approximately 0.30 carats, set in a box setting. Eight additional half-moon-cut emeralds weighing a total of approximately 1.80 carats (one stone is damaged), as well as eight old European-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.80 carats, also set in box settings, lend the ring a vibrant burst of color and a nostalgic gleam. The diamonds impress with their high color grade and high to medium clarity, while their old cut lends them a warm and historic character. With a total weight of 4.57 grams and a ring size of 52, this ring is a beautiful example of late 19th and early 20th-century jewelry. Its estimated value is approximately 4,400 euros.
