This elegant white gold ring (585 fineness) is a fascinating piece of jewelry dating from between 1950 and 1975. It bears the Vienna hallmark (valid from 1925 to 2001), confirming its Austrian origin and quality. At the center of the ring is a charming octagonal-cut emerald weighing approximately 0.75 carats, embedded in a prong setting and lending the ring an intense green accent. The emerald is surrounded by ten sparkling round-cut (brilliant-cut) diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.90 carats, set in entourage settings and lending the ring a radiant shine. The diamonds impress with their high color grade and low clarity grade, while their modern, good cut emphasizes their brilliance. With a total weight of 5.80 grams and a ring size of 57, this ring is a beautiful example of mid-20th-century jewelry. The estimated value is around 3,000 euros.
