This exquisite necklace made of platinum (950 fineness) with yellow gold components (585 fineness, clasp) is a fascinating piece of jewelry dating from between 1910 and 1930. The necklace combines historical craftsmanship with timeless elegance. A total of eleven diamonds in various cuts are set in box settings with delicate mille-grits: three old European cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.60 carats, three marquise cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.40 carats, and five additional old European and octagonal cut diamonds. The combination of cuts and settings gives the necklace a special charm and impressive brilliance. With a total weight of 5.38 grams, the necklace is a delicate masterpiece that has retained its beauty despite a repair on the chain. Because it was made before 1938, the chain is not subject to Austrian hallmarking regulations and is of historical and cultural significance. Its estimated value is approximately 3,500 euros.
