This extraordinary brooch made of yellow and white gold (750 fineness) is a masterpiece by the renowned Viennese company Dorotheum and was crafted between 1975 and 2010. The brooch impresses with its opulent design and the use of a variety of gemstones. At the center of the piece is a fascinating marquise-cut diamond, accompanied by a faceted pear-cut emerald. A total of 103 faceted round-cut pink-red rubies with a total weight of approximately 4.40 carats (three of which are slightly damaged) and three synthetic rubies give the brooch an intense brilliance of color. The design is complemented by 93 octagonal-cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 1.85 carats (six of which are slightly damaged), set in prong and bead settings. The diamonds impress with their high color grade and medium to low clarity, while their modern, good cut emphasizes their brilliance. With a total weight of 32.13 grams, this brooch is an impressive piece of jewelry that combines elegance and luxury. Its estimated value is approximately 10,000 euros.
