This charming white gold ring (14 karat fine gold) dates from between 1950 and 1970 and bears the goldsmith's mark "FW" within a rectangle, indicating its artisanal origins. The ring captivates with its classic design and the use of antique, old European cut diamonds. A total of 22 diamonds are set in various settings: six diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.65 carats are set in box settings, while 16 further diamonds are set in fine grain settings (five of which show slight damage). The piece is complemented by three colorless, round-cut sapphires, set in box settings, which add additional sparkle to the ring. The diamonds impress with medium to high color and medium to low clarity, while their old cut lends them a warm and nostalgic character. With a total weight of 6.42 grams and a ring size of 55, this ring is a beautiful example of mid-20th-century jewelry. Its estimated value is approximately 3,200 euros.
